About this Product

The Victoria Ghost Chair is a chair born of classic lines with a rounded backrest that recalls the shape of antique medallions, whilst the seat is linear and geometric. Victoria Ghost is made of transparent, coloured polycarbonate and formed in a single injection mould. It is stable, comfortable, robust and weather resistant. Once more we find a chair created thanks to the technological know-how amassed over the years by Kartell to create articles which have made the company world renowned.

Philippe Starck

Most likely influenced by his father, who worked as an aircraft engineer, Starck studied at the École Nissim de Camondo, Paris, and in 1968 set up his first company, which produced inflatable objects. Always interested in design as a total concept, in the 1970s he made a reputation for himself by creating interiors for clients such as the Paris nightclubs La Main Bleue (1976) and Les Bains-Douches (1978).
