For the GUBI x Noah Special Edition, four new colors have been selected for the rope, which is engineered from a high-performance, waterproof polyester used in speed sailing. Bringing a new vibrancy to the design, the colors include a fun and sporty yellow, a bright and vivid royal blue, a cool classic navy, and an understated modern gray. Each color stands out individually, but also falls into rhythm with the others when deployed alongside. Placed individually, paired, or positioned in a group within different color combinations, the chairs tell different stories and bring fresh energy to any space.
About the Designer
Mathias Rasmussen
Mathias Steen Rasmussen is a Danish designer with a seasoned and rigorous approach to furniture design. Born in 1990, he has a background in art and cabinetmaking, completing his apprenticeship in 2019 with the highest honors. When working on his own designs, his philosophy is ‘honesty in construction’. This means keeping the design process open to what an object consists of and how it is constructed, often showcasing the naked grain of the wood and visible joints.
