The Drop Lamp was inspired by early modernist sculptures such as Barancusi’s Endless Column. Playing with abstract forms, we wanted to explore the use of light and how it would fall on this organically shaped object. The soft curves of the lamp and lustrous finish makes it a playful and inviting presence. Taking on its own personality the Drop Lamp elicits imagination and brings a sense of calm and elegance to the room.
