Faye Toogood

Faye Toogood is a contemporary British designer whose work moves freely between furniture, fashion, interiors, and sculpture. After beginning her career as a stylist and editor at The World of Interiors, she founded Toogood in 2008. Her design language blends raw materiality with bold, almost primitive forms, creating objects that feel both sculptural and deeply tactile. Known for pieces such as the Roly-Poly Chair, her work often explores imperfect geometries, soft volumes, and a strong connection between craft and contemporary design. Through furniture collections, interiors, and experimental objects, Toogood continues to blur the boundaries between art and design, producing pieces that function as both usable objects and expressive forms.

"When you create something as a designer, you're only there for a fraction of its life. The interesting thing for me is what happens after it leaves the studio."
