Fabio Novembre (Italian, born 1966) is an architect and designer known for his expressive, narrative approach to contemporary design. Born in Lecce in southern Italy, he studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and later spent time in New York, where he was exposed to experimental art and architecture scenes that strongly influenced his work. Novembre founded his own studio in Milan in the 1990s and quickly became recognized for interiors and objects that blend symbolism, sensual forms, and strong storytelling. His projects range from architecture and interior design to furniture and product design for major brands such as Kartell, Driade, and Cappellini. Often inspired by classical art, the human body, and pop culture, Novembre’s work challenges strict functionalism in favor of emotional and theatrical design experiences, making him one of the distinctive voices of contemporary Italian design.
