Emmi Armchair
Designed by
Hannes Peer
The Emmi Armchair was introduced in 2024.
It presents a harmonious balance of softness and architectural clarity. Its enveloping, gently rounded form sits atop a clean, understated base, creating a refined contrast between plush comfort and sculptural precision. Upholstered with meticulous craftsmanship, the chair’s smooth curves and tailored detailing give it a contemporary yet timeless character — making it a versatile, statement-worthy piece for both relaxed and sophisticated interiors.

Hannes Peer is a South Tyrol–born architect and designer based in Milan, known for his eclectic and material-driven approach that blends architecture, interior design, and product design. Trained at the Politecnico di Milano and the Technical University of Berlin, he built his early career working with influential studios such as OMA/Rem Koolhaas, Metrogramma in Milan, and Zvi Hecker in Berlin before founding his own practice, Hannes Peer Architecture, in 2009. A trained carpenter, he brings a strong hands-on sensibility to his work, combining craftsmanship, historical references, and contemporary forms with a signature richness in texture, colour, and detail. His projects span high-end residential interiors, hospitality spaces, and bespoke furniture, and he has been recognised by international publications such as AD100 and Elle Decor’s A-List. In 2024, he began collaborating with Minotti, designing pieces including the Emmi Armchair, which reflects his characteristic balance of sculptural geometry, refined materiality, and modern comfort.
