The Heracleum The Big O Lustre / Suspension Lamp is a foliage crown with a joyful glow of lit up branches. The design was inspired by the plant hogweed, which opens up in the spring to reveal small flowers to match those on the design of the lamp. The light is created using a basic frame that's constructed using either copper or nickel. A thin suspension wire and polycarbonate lenses radiate uniform illumination that can light an entire room. It can be used close to the ceiling to provide lighting to a room or living space, or it can be suspended low down, giving dramatic and extravagant lighting over a dining table or feature sofa.

Bertjan Pot is a designer, probably best known for his Random Light (1999). The light started as a material research, which is basically the starting point of each product created by Bertjan Pot. The outcome is usually an interior product showing a fascination for techniques, structures, patterns and colors. Most experiments start quite impulsively by a certain curiosity for how things would function or how something would look. From there Pot takes on challenges with manufacturers to explore possibilities and push the boundaries a bit. The reward for each challenge is a new one.
